Some may call us alchemists.
We call ourselves craftsmen. It’s not magic. It’s hard work and old style techniques that make our beers and rums so delicious. We're doing things the way they should be done. Sometimes maybe even a little better than they used to be done.
Dry Hopped Pale Ale
More than an area code for many Clevelanders, "216" means home. So it's no surprise this easy drinking session beer with a refreshing citrus note and a distinctive floral hop aroma has become a local favorite. We dry hopped this pale ale with generous amounts of Centennial hops to deliver a balanced hop finish.
Rusalka Vanilla Stout | ABV 5.3%
A smooth stout that lures you in with a kiss of vanilla with a clean finish. Named for the mythical mermaid-like creature that drowned young men in rivers and lakes with the disguise of a beautiful woman.
Mayo Irish Red Ale | ABV 5.5%
An Irish-style red ale with strong notes of crystal malt is a more traditional red ale than our previous hoppy Riptide Red. This brew pays tribute to our friends of West Mayo Brewery in Cleveland's Irish sister city.
Seasonal Specials | ABV varies
We brew many seasonal beers throughout the year to harvest creativity and fresh flavors. For full list of beers, please request via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ironclad IPA | ABV 7.5%
A balanced double pale ale crafted with extra malt and American hops for a citrus and floral hop finish. Named after the steamships of the 1800’s that changed naval warfare, this offering from Portside will change how you view American pale ales.
North Kolsch Ale | ABV 5.0%
An American twist on the widely popular German ale. Brewed with saaz hops for a light, malty taste and subtle hop aroma and flavor. You might as well be in Munich when sipping on this beer.
